Doctors, Depression, and DNA
In a June 25, 2010 Newsweek.Com article, reporter Mary Carmichael asks the question: “Can a genetic test help patients get on the right antidepressant?” A new test, GeneSightRx, helps doctors and patients pick the right anti-depressants. This new test has replaced the trial and error approach at the Mayo Clinic and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, the two institutions where it was developed.
